Place have spaces to sit outside. However we were restricted to sit at the tables located next the waterfront, for unknown reason. The restaurant was busy on a Thursday afternoon. Table was wobbly a bit. The food arrived literally in 5 minutes after the order was made. The pasta 🍝 was tasty, I would not call pizza original pizza but still okay, I would prefer to more sauce on pizza as it was a bit dry. May be a bit overpriced for the Italian fast food pretending to be a restaurant.

J made our birthday evening so special!!! What an absolutely beautiful soul just spreading sunshine everywhere! I love the saying, somewhere a stranger remembers you because you were kind to them and this reminds me of J and the impact it has on people!! Our expectations were truly exceeded and J’s authentic beauty just shines through and the happiness is infectious, the food was also incredible! thank you so much for making my first birthday home with my twin sister in over 9 years such a memorable one!! 🥹🥰❤️🙏🏼

Fantastic place to sit and have lunch. Waitress who served us was very kind when she noticed that I had bought my guide dog in she bought over a container of water for her which was very thoughtful. Delicious food, great choices on the menu and overall a very enjoyable lunch.

Hoping this would be like it's past reviews... Absolutely disgusting and flimsy so called pizza? It's nothing but bought in pizza doe with 4 basil leaves... no cheese.. a tiny amount of red food colouring or what ever you call sauce. Vile. The chips where freezing as expected. The mince on the chips was very nice I have to admit.. but that is all..never again. I recommend nobody to order or get a take away from here. Very disappointing!!!

I've been to other Zizzi's before since becoming a Coeliac and had a great experience but the Gunwharf restaurant didn't seem to take allergies seriously and made me feel like a problem rather than putting me at ease. We went as a family of four on the Thursday before Good Friday at 5.45pm. Already they'd run out of basics like Vanilla ice cream and the chicken dish my wife wanted. Our waiter Marcin, was super friendly and apologetic for issues raised. Not all bad, both my children loved their pizza, spaghetti bolognaise, and chocolate/caramel ice cream deserts. I was told I couldn't have the gluten free chips (as per other Zizzi's) as although they had two fryers the chefs often used both for gluten based items so they couldn't guarantee no cross contamination. I'd really been looking forward to these as not many of the Italian chains do fries. Main meals came out and Marcin apologised for mine being late. The chef had cooked the wrong item. When mine came, 5 mins later, it looked great but was black round the edges and burnt. I only mentioned this when asked if all was ok and said I didn't want to change it. The manageress came over to tell me that that was how GF pizzas were. That really annoyed me as a) pizzas have never been like that from other Zizzi's and b) why ask for feedback if you are just going to justify rather than deal with a complaint. Really poor service and made the remainder of the experience an uncomfortable one. I guess I should have refused to pay for the pizza but didn't want to make a scene in front of my children and other diners. Won't be going back to this particular restaurant.

First time I have been here. The food was absolutely delicious 😋 Our waiter was very helpful, funny, made the whole experience even better. We came to celebrate my son's birthday and he even sang to him. Absolutely a credit to your restaurant! Definitely will come back!

Price is way to high for a size of a portions. Mine pork belly was half burned bearly any salds comes with it most of potatos and carrots was stuck to a plate lookes like that was sitting on hot pass or something. Pasta portion also had like 5 prawns in it. £60 for 3 mains its a rip off.

Server was helpful & very attentive We supped on calzone & carbonara with mushrooms & pancetta. Both were very good. We would come back. (The only place that gets 5stars also has the good fairy what lives in the sky and grants wishes)
